Ornamental shrub with blush green leaves, red stems and stunning yellow flowers in winter. Grows quickly on adverse terrain in a wide range of soils. Tolerates dry hill country very well. Excellent low shelter. Wattles are a good pioneer species (i.e. they make fast early growth in disturbed sites) they are good for use in regenerating areas to stabilize the soil, to provide shelter belts and visual screens, and to provide wildlife habitats. Larger varieties for firewood and timber.

How to Grow
